Getting Started
Welcome to the Creator Program! This guide walks you through everything you need to start creating and sharing AI characters and roleplays.
1. What is the Creator Program?
The Creator Program lets you design your own AI characters and roleplays with unique personalities, appearances, and conversation styles. Once created, you can share them publicly, generate direct chat links, and build a following.
The current creator share is 60% of qualifying gross purchase revenue attributed to your characters or roleplays. Direct paid-user credit activity on your characters also contributes to earnings at the rate shown in your Earnings dashboard.
The platform records the most recently tracked character and active roleplay from profile and chat activity, then stores that context with qualifying purchases. Earnings are not guaranteed.
2. Account & Creator Status
You need to be signed in to use the character and roleplay builders. Registration alone does not make an account a creator: the Creator role, default Approved monetization status, and New Creator badge are assigned when the account is linked to its first character or roleplay. Administrators can later change that status.
Creator account status, public profile visibility, and discovery-feed moderation are separate. A public creation can be opened and shared directly while it remains outside discovery and Featured until a moderator marks it In Feed.
3. Earnings & Creation Tools
Every signed-in account can open Earnings to see its balance, creator content, activity, and payout requirements. Creating and editing happen in the separate character and roleplay builders.
- Earnings — View character and roleplay rows, conversations, tracked credits, gross purchases, your calculated share, and current balance.
- Character builder — Create identity, personality, conversation instructions, opening messages, media, tags, and visibility.
- Roleplay builder — Choose a cast and define the premise, current scene, story context, direction, choices, media, tags, and visibility.
4. Publish Your First Creation
Start with a complete, testable character or roleplay. New creations can remain private while you refine them. Publishing changes the creation to Public and gives it a shareable profile; it does not automatically approve it for discovery feeds or Featured.
The Earnings page is available before you create anything, but payout requests require an approved Creator account and the configured minimum available balance.
