Program Terms & Revenue
Everything you need to know about earning, payouts, ownership, and program rules on TalkieMate.
1. Content Rights & License
You must own or have all necessary rights to every character, roleplay, prompt, image, voice, and other material you submit. Publishing does not transfer ownership of your User Content to the platform.
By submitting User Content, you grant TalkieMate the non-exclusive license described in the full Terms & Conditions so the platform can host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, modify, and promote that content to operate and improve the service.
You can keep a creation Private, publish it to a public profile, edit it, or delete it through the available creator controls. Deleting an account also deletes its owned character and roleplay posts, subject to any legal retention obligations described in the full Terms.
Removing content does not override fraud, infringement, suspension, balance-adjustment, or forfeiture provisions in the full Terms. Contact support before deleting content if you have a pending payout question.
The platform license is non-exclusive. You remain responsible for ensuring that publishing the same or related material elsewhere does not violate third-party rights or another service's terms.
2. Revenue Share
The current calculation gives creators 60% of qualifying gross purchase revenue attributed to their characters or roleplays. Only processing and completed orders are counted, and instant-charge or upsell orders are currently excluded.
Eligible credits spent by paid users in direct chats with your characters currently add $0.03 per credit. Your own credit activity is excluded. Roleplay credit counts may be shown for activity, but the implemented roleplay earnings calculation currently uses attributed purchase revenue.
The Earnings dashboard shows the recorded conversations, credit activity, qualifying gross purchases, calculated creator share, amount already withdrawn, and current balance. These figures depend on the attribution and order records available to the platform.
3. Content Policy
To keep the platform safe and welcoming for everyone, all characters and roleplays must follow these guidelines:
Allowed
- Romantic/companionship roleplay, including "Spicy+" tier content per our content rating system
- Original characters (not impersonating real, identifiable people without consent)
- Fantasy, sci-fi, historical, and fictional personas
Prohibited
- Any depiction of minors in sexual or romantic contexts, regardless of framing
- Non-consensual content themes (real-person harassment, doxxing, etc.)
- Content promoting self-harm, illegal acts, or extremist material
- Impersonation of real public figures without a clear fictional/parody disclaimer
Violations may result in warnings, character takedown, or account suspension. We review all reports and take action based on the severity and frequency of violations.
Creators who publish adult or NSFW characters are solely responsible for ensuring all depicted content complies with applicable obscenity laws in their jurisdiction.
4. Payout Mechanics
The current payout control is a request workflow, not an automatic scheduled transfer:

Creators are responsible for declaring earnings and paying applicable taxes. Support may request information needed to review and process a withdrawal.
Creator accounts inactive for 12 consecutive months may be subject to dormancy fees or forfeiture of unpaid balances. Keep your account active to protect your earnings.
5. Featured Placement
Public creator characters and roleplays must pass moderation before they can appear in discovery feeds or the Featured rotation.
- Rotation — Featured selections rotate on a seven-day cycle
- Automatic ordering — Unpinned eligible content is interleaved across creators so one large portfolio does not fill every available position
- Eligibility — Characters and roleplays must follow our content guidelines and pass moderation
- New approvals — Content approved during an active cycle is considered first for the available Featured positions
- Manual character positions — Administrators can pin an eligible moderated character to a specific Featured slot; the remaining character slots keep the automatic rotation order
- Creator control — Creators cannot approve their own content or force a Featured position from the creator interface
The creator quality score is a private completeness checklist; it does not rank Featured content or guarantee approval. Use the character and roleplay creation guide to improve the profile, opening interaction, media, and discovery details before submitting public content.
6. Onboarding & Free Credits
A signed-in user can open the character and roleplay builders without a separate creator application. The account receives the Creator role, default Approved monetization status, and New Creator badge when its first character or roleplay is linked to it. Administrators can later set the status to Pending, Approved, Suspended, or Rejected.
Publishing & Moderation
You can publish a character or roleplay to its own profile when it is ready. Public creator content remains outside discovery feeds and Featured until a moderator approves it.
Free Credits
Every new user receives 15 free credits at registration to talk with characters.
Your 15 free credits are added automatically after registration, so you can start chatting with any character.
7. Important Legal Notes
Participation in the TalkieMate Creator Program is voluntary and subject to eligibility requirements. TalkieMate reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to modify, suspend, or terminate the Creator Program, adjust revenue share percentages, payment methods, or payout schedules, and establish or modify minimum payout thresholds.
Creators are solely and exclusively responsible for accurately declaring all earnings and paying all applicable taxes in their jurisdiction.
Fraudulent activity, infringement of third-party rights, or violation of platform Terms may result in withheld, reversed, or permanently forfeited earnings, and may lead to permanent account suspension.
